LatviaFM is a radio network operated by Latvia Media Group, targeted for residents of TV-Maa whose main language is English.

It is available on 99.8MHz on FM and 650KHz. Radio station is mostly playing J-POP, Suomirock and rock music.

The first ever mentions of a radio network from Latvia Media Group were from December 1st of 1980, when then quite new LTVG Media Group launched it's first radio service, LTR on AM only. Network broadcasted on 650KHz, a place which was inherited since then by LatviaFM.

In 1997, LTR joined FM network, on 99.8MHz, and renamed itself as LTVG OneFM. The network was in stereo sound, which was a first for the company which mainly worked with AM.

In 2005, with accordance to the LTVG Media Group, now LTVG International, redesign, network renamed itself as LTVG Radio 1, which stayed as it's name until LTVG International got it's second, and as of now final, redesign - renaming the radio station as LatviaFM, and it's sister station - LTVG Radio 2 - got renamed as LatviaFM+.

Results of MusiikkiVaalit[muokkaa | muokkaa wikitekstiä]

First MusiikiVaalit was published in 1980 and is being updated every year and takes place 30.12 of every year. People can choose songs from a vast list of songs.
